Story
Amina's Beadwork
By The Vivid Heritage Team · July 31, 2026
A tradition in every bead
Amina learned beadwork from her grandmother, threading stories of bravery and harvest into each pattern.
Today she leads a cooperative of twelve women in Kajiado, and every piece you buy pays them fairly and upfront.
Why it matters
- Fair, upfront wages
- Traditional techniques kept alive
- Income that stays in the community
"When someone wears our beadwork, they carry a piece of our story." — Amina
